Printing wet negatives (preparing to an exhibition Vol.1)
Because I was deeply convinced to exhibit non digital enlargments on the final show of the 1863 project, I tried to find a darkroom with a enlarger ready to cover 18x24cm negatives. I would like to thank Jerzy Hejber and Tomasz Maryks for spending some time in the Photography School in Sopot.
It was 420km trip to the darkroom.
Beseler 810 enlarger with diffuser box for fluorescent tubes, as the light source, wasn’t so huge I thought.
To tonal control I used large 30x30cm filters with almost full spectrum (from 0 to 5 grades)
Prints were copied on fiber base paper, and they needed be washed about 45min in running water, and be dried on glass.
